The Synopsis

That person wants the item back and believes Dani now has it. As she and her son run for their lives, they have nowhere to turn, until she hires Adam Buchanan of Operation Refuge and goes into hiding. Unfortunately, she won’t be able to hide for long . . .

From the first breathless scene, this tension-laced story will hold readers in its iron grip. Bestselling author Lynette Eason propels readers along at a breakneck pace in a race to discover the truth and a better future.

My Review

MY GENERAL THOUGHTS: Nowhere to Turn is full of suspense from page one, and I found myself rooting for Dani and Simon right from the start. Both characters were greatly written and extremely likable, as was Adam. The “bad guys” were well written as well, and though I could not necessarily agree with their motives, I did understand why they did what they did without completely understanding why anyone in the world could think like them……If that makes any sense. The plot was very well written and anything aside from the romance between Dani and Adam was totally unpredictable.

QUESTIONABLE CONTENT: There is quite a bit of violence that includes quite a few murders that are semi-detailed. Gun-fights, scary stalking, and masked kidnappings are also some of the spine tingling suspense scenes.

OVERALL CONCLUSION: I give Nowhere to Turn 5 out 5 five stars for a story well written and time well spent! Thanks to the publisher for giving me this book in return for an honest review. All comments and opinions are my own.

  1. This sounds like a wonderful book! I can not get enough of books that keep me guessing and completely stun me with unpredictable plot twists! Also, the questionable content for this book seems alright for me to handle. I’m okay with some violence in books (I did grow up on a lot of Nancy Drew books after all, which I know aren’t too violent, but they were kind of violent for an elementary schooler.), as long as it isn’t too graphic or horrific.

    1. Graphic and horrific are definitely not words that I would use to describe Nowhere to Turn. Yes there a few slightly graphic scenes, but those were few and far between. Thanks for stopping by!
